Descending directly from another Houbigant perfume for men, the Duc de Vervins was created using the formula of Fougère Royale as a base.
Fougère Royale is mentioned in the Genealogy of Perfumes since its creation by Houbigant in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1882.
It is from this fragrance that the House Houbigant developed the Duc de Vervins in 1985, thus interpreting its original creation in a modern way.
