A prodigious career
Born in 1964 in Beirut, Elie Saab was not even 9 years old when he designed his first dress for his younger sister.
At 18, the child prodigy founded his own fashion house and quickly established himself as an expert in Haute Couture. In 2000, he catwalked for the first time in Paris before being elected "corresponding member" of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture de Paris.
