Coming from a Sri Lankan plantation that has been a partner of Dior for more than 10 years, the sandalwood note present in Sauvage Parfum possesses rich nuances and exceptional qualities thanks to very special cultivation methods.
Difficult to cultivate, it is accompanied at the beginning of its growth and then "released" in a totally wild plantation where nature regains its rights.
It is in this rough and natural world where the hand of man no longer intervenes that each tree continues to grow, struggling to unfold and last until sometimes reaching 100 years old and more than 12 meters high! It is at this price that its unique olfactory qualities are shaped, year after year, to give the rare, powerful and rich sandalwood essence note of Sauvage.
