For the creation of its NUMBER ONE Eau de Toilette (1985), Hugo Boss called upon a great name in luxury perfumery: Pierre Wargnye. A nose known for his successful fragrances for men, this perfumer has developed, with the Eau de Toilette NUMBER ONE, an aromatic fougère scent that is both intimate and full of life. One can imagine the rebellious man, typical of the Hugo Boss profile, behind the NUMBER ONE fragrance.

The cinnamon and tobacco accents in the base note of Number One exude a sweetness that we readily associate with the aroma of honey. The reference to this gourmet nectar is supported by the colour of the Number One juice, with its delicate golden hues. The bottle of the NUMBER ONE Eau de Toilette gives the Boss fragrance its letters of nobility: a thick, rough glass, with a wide body and a black lacquered cap... The sculpture of a well-built man with a naturally sporty and imposing silhouette.
