Before you start, make sure your hair is completely dry and untangled. To protect your hair and improve curl hold, apply a thermo-active spray. This product will also help to achieve a smooth and shiny finish.
Setting the Temperature
The WAVER BaBylissPRO offers a temperature variator from 140°C to 220°C, allowing you to choose the appropriate heat according to your hair type:
* Fine or sensitised hair: 140°C-160°C
* Normal hair: 160°C-180°C
* Thick or textured hair: 180°C-220°C
These options help you style your hair effectively while minimizing the damage caused by too much heat.
Technique of undulation & stylisation
1. Select a strand: Start by selecting a small section of hair about 2 cm wide.
2. Position the Waver: Open the WAVER clamp and place the wick near the roots (without getting too close to the scalp to avoid burns).
3. Tighten and hold: Close the iron on the wick and hold for a few seconds before releasing it. Repeat the process along the wick moving to the tips.
4. Continue over the entire head: Repeat this operation over all your hair to obtain uniform undulations.
Finish your Style
After curling all your hair, let it cool completely. This will secure the curls and increase their durability. For more volume and a more natural look, gently pass your fingers through the loops to separate them. You can also use a wide-toothed comb if necessary.
