Terracotta, Guerlain's iconic make-up product and Europe's No. 1 bronzing powder for a natural glow¹, continues its endless reinvention with a limited edition of both its compact and its iconic case: Terracotta Golden Dunes.
This new exclusive collection reinterprets the original myth of Terracotta powder, launched by Guerlain in 1984: capturing the multitude of shades of the Moroccan desert dunes, swept by the sun's rays.
It is this image of the sun sculpting the relief of the dunes that inspires the unique compact of Terracotta Golden Dunes. The unique harmony of this collection is available in three new, redesigned cases, which are still refillable. Guerlain has partnered with the Aït Manos workshops to design this trio of exclusive cases. Perpetuating ancestral know-how, this Moroccan manufacturer is committed to modernising an exceptional Moroccan craft: zellige, a traditional ornamental mosaic composed of coloured earthenware. These exceptional zellige patterns have been combined with a colourful marbled print echoing the hues of semi-precious stones. Each of these refillable cases evokes the Moroccan desert: Blue Daklha: a lapis lazuli blue highlighted by a red geometric pattern, in a composition punctuated with sky blue and white.
Red Zagora: the contrast between garnet red and a duo of yellows through a motif in the shape of a stylised sun.
Green Agafay: the colour of jade dominates this design, with a star-shaped motif around a gradient of greens.
