HOW DOES IT WORK?
Developed for use on wet hair, the innovative Heat-Air Xchange™ technology offers a gentle yet effective drying method to dry and style all hair types without heat damage³. The combination of controlled airflow, the surface and the tangle-free heating pins, all set to the optimal low styling temperature of 120°C, ensures your hairstyle stays in place for an incredible 24 hours. The heat is measured 400 times per second to ensure this ideal temperature is maintained consistently, enabling a professional blow-dry at home. The air gently dries the hair thanks to perfectly positioned air vents for a frizz-free result. The bristles are precision-engineered to glide through your hair without snagging or tangling it, and to style as close to the roots as possible.

1 – TOWEL-DRY
Once you’ve washed your hair, towel-dry it thoroughly to absorb any excess water.
2 – PROTECT
Before you start, apply ghd Volume Forever blow-dry cream from the mid-lengths to the ends and detangle using the ghd brush.
3 – PRE-DRY
Switch on the ghd duet blowdry. Once ready, start by gliding the blow-dry brush through large sections of hair. Take slow strokes until the hair is almost dry.
4 – STYLE AS YOU LIKE
Work in sections. Use the following technique depending on the look you want:
- For a soft, voluminous blow-dry: position the ghd duet blowdry diagonally beneath the hair. Give it a quarter turn, then slowly slide it down to the ends. Next, wrap the ends around the ghd duet blowdry, work your way back up to the roots, hold for 3 seconds before unwinding.
- For a sleek, elegant blow-dry: position the ghd duet blowdry diagonally beneath the hair. Give it a quarter turn, then slowly slide it down to the ends. Use an inward motion at the ends.
- For a curly blow-dry: hold the ghd duet blowdry vertically, with the tip pointing downwards. Glide it down to the ends whilst continuing to rotate the blow-dry brush.
5 – FINISH
Finish your style with ghd Shiny Ever After shine spray. Once cooled, use the cleaning brush provided to remove any loose hairs.
