Every summer, the iconic Terracotta Light – ranked number one among bronzing and healthy-glow powders in Europe¹ – is reimagined in a limited edition. This year, Guerlain has reimagined both the formulation and the design of the iconic compact launched in 1984, drawing on its original inspiration: capturing the spectrum of shades found in the dunes of the Moroccan desert, bathed in the rays of the summer sun.
This legendary landscape is embodied in a gradient of bronzing and blush shades – a delicate pink and an apricot-coral – creating a unique harmony for an instant, natural healthy glow.
Created in collaboration with the Aït Manos workshops, the exclusive case evokes the dazzling sunshine of a summer’s morning. Carrying on ancestral expertise, this Moroccan workshop is committed to modernising a traditional craft: zellige, an ornamental mosaic made from coloured earthenware tiles.
This new refillable case completes the Terracotta Golden Dunes collection, which is perfect for collectors.

There are two recommended ways to apply Terracotta Summer Glow:
- By blending the shades: sweep the Kabuki brush across the entire surface of the compact and apply the powder to the forehead, temples, cheekbones and bridge of the nose to warm up the entire complexion.
- By selecting specific shades: start with the bronzing shades to contour the face, then use the pink or coral blush shades to highlight the cheekbones.
More versatile than ever, Terracotta powder can now be applied to the eyelids by using a fine brush to pick up the shades of your choice.
