In 1947, Miss Dior was born from Christian Dior’s dream of bringing a sense of wonder back into the lives of women everywhere and enveloping them in a trail of desire. A visionary perfumer and fashion designer, he created the House’s very first fragrance at the same time as his first revolutionary collection, dubbed the New Look.

Today, Miss Dior has been reimagined in a contemporary, colourful and velvety version, enriched with the most precious natural ingredients. At its heart, Centifolia rose absolute reveals a sweet tenderness with honeyed and peppery accents. Enveloped in warm, indulgent notes of creamy vanilla, a generous, almond-scented tonka bean absolute and a milky sandalwood accord, it leaves a unique, intense and long-lasting trail. 

The centifolia rose comes in particular from Dior’s exclusive rose estates in Grasse, the world capital of perfumery in the heart of the South of France, a region so dear to Christian Dior. Among them are the Château de la Colle Noire, his Provençal residence, and the Domaine des Naysses, where his younger sister Catherine – who inspired Miss Dior – cultivated roses.  

From this unique Mediterranean terroir, nestled between the sea and the mountains, come exceptional flowers that create a powerful scent imbued with expertise – a true, living tribute to the House’s heritage.
