Description

A declaration of love to this legendary creation, a tribute to its fabulous territory of inspiration, Shalimar Millésime Iris puts the iris in majesty and follows in the footsteps of these precious vintages. The Guerlain perfumers have created a composition that is seductively intimate, caressing and sensual. Present on the skin from the very first moment, the iris accompanies the freshness of bergamot, the iconic note of Shalimar and Guerlinade, with a powdery breath. Faceted like a jewel, it reveals its characteristic olfactory complexity alongside rose and white musk. Its velvety floral notes are a marvel of sensuality on the skin.

The bottle of Shalimar Millésime Iris pays homage to the original, designed for Jacques Guerlain by his nephew Raymond in 1925. A legendary bottle in Guerlain's heritage, its curves evoke the basins in the gardens of Shalimar, in a style characteristic of Art Deco. For this new vintage, the famous "bat" label is adorned with Shalimar's emblematic blue-black. A reminder of its iconic bonnet, this deep hue also evokes the petals of the iris pallida, highlighted in this new limited edition.
